Bishop T. D. Jakes

T. D. Jakes is a charismatic leader, visionary, provocative thinker, and entrepreneur who serves as senior pastor of The Potter's House, a global humanitarian organization and 30,000-member church located in Dallas.

Named "America's Best Preacher" by Time Magazine, Jakes' voice reverberates from the world's most prominent stages. Through a nexus of charitable works, T.D. Jakes extends a hand of help to the needy, heart of compassion to the hurting, and message of empowerment to the oppressed and disenfranchised.

Beyond the pulpit, Jakes ranks among the 25 Most Influential African Americans, Britain's 100 Most Influential Black People and EBONY's Power150. His worldwide impact can be felt through a media empire that spans film, television, radio, best-selling books, greeting cards and conference series.

His latest film, "Jumping the Broom" broke opening weekend box office records, ranking as the #1 comedy and #3 in overall revenues.

A father of five with wife Serita, Thomas Dexter Jakes credits his parents as the source of his perseverance and sense of self-reliance.

After 35 years in ministry, T.D. Jakes continues to be a leading voice of innovation, inspiration, and influence in Christendom today.

 

Pastor Ronnie Guynes

Ronnie Guynes has more than 30 years of experience in managing philanthropic works worldwide. In his travels to over 50 countries, he has managed food distributions, medical camps and training for thousands.

Currently, Pastor Guynes is one of the Associate Pastors of the Potter's House and also serves as the Executive Director of MegaCARE, a humanitarian organization formed by Bishop T.D. Jakes. Pastor Guynes has served in this capacity since 1997 in which he has effectively and passionately trained leaders to impact the world. Through the implementation of numerous projects, Mr. Guynes has provided care for people in the most remote areas of our globe, including the construction of hospital wings, medical clinics, children's centers, computer learning centers and housing. Additionally, his work in sub-Saharan Africa has served as a catalyst for saving lives through the construction of clean water projects. Mr. Guynes has always been very active in making a difference in the communities he has lived in through his societal service.

He and his wife Linda live in Arlington, Texas. They have two adult children and three grandchildren.

 

Richard Wesley

Richard Wesley is a business professional and entrepreneur with over 15 years experience in business consulting, process improvement and human capital management for startups to Fortune 500 organizations. He has provided training on leadership, best business practices and staff development for corporations and civic organizations.

In 2009, Wesley joined the staff of MegaCARE, a non-profit humanitarian organization formed by Bishop T.D. Jakes. In this role, Wesley assists with internal operations, process improvement and strategic development for key initiatives. He also helps to establish partnerships with organizations to evaluate needs, design programs and implement solutions to help hurting people and empower communities around the world.

Prior to his current role, Wesley volunteered with MegaCARE from 2006 to 2009. During that time, he served as a team lead to Latin America overseeing short-term mission trips, including medical camps, humanitarian distributions and regional conferences. He also worked with leaders from churches, orphanages and other organizations to build relations and serve the Latin American communities.
From 1999 to 2005, Wesley volunteered as the men's director for a Texas church developing programs to challenge and encourage men in their spiritual walk, leadership and community service. In 2001, he developed a short-term mission program for Mexico targeting humanitarian distributions, children services and local conferences.

Wesley conducted his undergraduate studies with a corporate finance specialization. He was ordained as a licensed minister in 1998, and he recently received honors in Cambridge's Who's Who among Executives and Professionals for 2009/2010.

Wesley resides in McKinney, TX with his wife, Amy, who's been by his side for 15 wonderful years.
